Dr. Amy Snedaker - Veterinarian

Amy Snedaker

Dr. Snedaker is a New Hampshire native who grew up in Nashua and knew from the age of six that she wanted to become a veterinarian. After a first-grade field trip to a veterinary office sparked her interest, she never looked back.

She attended the University of New Hampshire, earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Nutrition, before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

Dr. Snedaker lives in Wilton with her musician husband, their two daughters, and a busy household of five cats, a senior dog, chickens, guinea fowl, and several other small pets. She loves sharing her passion for animals with her family and raising the next generation of animal lovers.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Snedaker enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, attending music festivals, and supporting her daughters in their many activities, including alpine skiing and competitive swimming. She is also actively involved in their school as a Parent Association leader.

For Dr. Snedaker, veterinary medicine is a lifelong passion, and she feels fortunate to care for the animals and families in her community.
